The 15-Minute Rule That Builds Real Consistency

July 6, 2026

I have worked with players who have more natural talent than most professionals. Some of them never made it. The ones who did had one thing in common. They showed up every day.

The difference between a player who improves and one who stalls is not talent. It is the willingness to do a little bit every day, even when nobody is watching. That is where the 15-minute rule comes in. Pick one skill. Just one. Dribbling with your weak foot. First touch off a wall. Passing accuracy from 15 yards. Commit to 15 minutes every single day for three weeks.

No excuses. No skipping because practice was hard. Fifteen minutes is not about the time. It is about the habit. Once the habit sticks, the skill follows. Three weeks from now, that 15 minutes will be the reason you are ahead of everyone who only showed up for practice.
